Cinema Information

This art deco cinema was built in 1931 for the Gaumont British Circuit and has now been converted to provide four modern auditoria with luxury seating, full air conditioning and multi-track sound. Screens 2, 3 and 4 are located on the ground floor and are fully wheel chair accessible. Screen 1 has recently been refurbished and is at first floor level at the former balcony and is large and impressive with steeply raked seating, digital sound and a newly installed bigger screen now over 40 feet wide. This auditorium also has a limited number of Pullman recliner seats. There is a licenced café in the first floor foyer.

You don't have to be related to use this discounted ticket, and we'll try to be flexible.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers for use at any of Scott Cinemas 8 venues are available in person during opening hours, or by calling 01271 342 550 with a credit or debit card to hand.

Available in multiples of £2.50, they can be exchanged for tickets for any performance. Any excess from ticket purchase may be used at the kiosk and the value of the voucher can be added to if desired at time of exchange. With free gift card and first class postage to either yourself or the recipient, we can include a hand written message of your choice. Disabled Access

Full disabled access for screens 2, 3 & 4. Induction loops are fitted throughout. Selected performances in screen 1 have sub titles for the hard of hearing, all performances in this screen have Audio Description for the visually impaired available on request.

There are now 3 ways to book tickets in advance:

In Person. Available at the box office during opening hours, this does not incur a booking fee and is available to those who prefer to pay by cash or wish to use promotional vouchers. For performances where seats are being allocated, your choice of seat is available by booking in person.

By Phone. To either book via our automated system, or speak with a member of staff during opening hours, please call 0871 230 3200. We regret that staff cannot take bookings verbally on this number. These calls cost no more than 10p/minute peak rate from a BT landline, and the booking fee by this method has a minimum charge of £1.00 for one or two tickets, and 50p/ticket after that up to a maximum of £3.50. The booking fee for Family Group Tickets is £1.50. A credit or debit card is required and promotional vouchers cannot be used. Where seats are being allocated for a performance, this system will choose the best ones available on your behalf.

On The Internet. A credit or debit card is required, and vouchers cannot be used on our web service. A charge of 75 pence per ticket booking fee is applied, to a maximum of maximum of £3.75. The booking fee for Family Group Tickets is £1.50. Where seats are being allocated this method allows you to choose where you would like to sit.

Bus & Rail

The Bus-Station is 3-4 mins walk and the railway station is about 20 mins walk.
