In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented - but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a "looper" - a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) - is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good... until the day the mob decides to "close the loop," sending back Joe's future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination.
Not that good after all the hype
Got bored in parts as action too predictable maybe tv sci slot onlyPosted by Who are you? Tell us your name... at 09:03, 19 Oct 2012
Good but not that good!
Heard so many good things about this film i went there expecting to be blown away.....and wasn't! Don't get me wrong its a good film, and if you're happy at overlooking the obvious plot holes and the way in which they side step the issues regarding time travel then you'll enjoy it. Willis and Gordon-Levitt gave solid performances (to be honest Willis got the easy job...he only played himself) and Blunt puts in a good turn, the star of the film has got to be Gagnon who plays Cid....worth watching the film to see him...talk about moody kids!!!
Watch it, you'll enjoy it, but don't expect it to be life changing!
Best thing Bruce Willis has done in years!Posted by RoryM at 16:41, 02 Oct 2012

Have been waiting for this film for a long time, and thought it was ace! The plot outline might seem quite hard to follow but its actually so well written that the complexities of time travel are handled nicely and creatively. Starts out very action oriented then shifts gear mid way through to give you brain a chance to relax - or make you think more! JGL very impressive at getting Bruce Willis mannerisms down to a T. Very very good solid scf-fi drama.Posted by TheFlicks at 22:44, 28 Sep 2012
